The swimming pool and professionally landscaped grounds serve as backdrop for the serene beauty and marine activity of Thailand’s largest island resort destination. Hardly a moment goes by that there is not some activity on the beach; horse riding in the sand, Thai fishermen casting their nets, long-tail boats unloading their wares, shell gathering and children exploring the tidal pools.

At sunset the resort is at its best. The sky casts unimaginable streams of soft colored hues of pastel cascading throughout the sky. In the distance the lights of various islands announce their presence. Tour boats lit like small cities traverse the waterways traveling locally or from Phuket Island to Singapore.

This resort is a tranquil lodging beach resort oasis that will enhance and compliment your holiday activities be they scuba diving, snorkeling, yachting, sport fishing, wind-surfing, Para-sailing sightseeing or shopping. At Friendship Beach our accommodations allow you to relax and enjoy outstanding Thai and Western cuisine, long private walks along ten kilometers of unspoiled beach, sit and watch the ever changing scene of color and light, enjoy the extraordinary bird life and boating activity.

Accommodations are apartments, houses or rooms and Deluxe Bridal Suites. The apartments and houses are spacious and offer everything a western home offers and are designed for long term stays but can be occupied for a short term. The rooms are new or have been recently renovated and are very comfortable. Standard for all accommodations are internet wi-fi, TV, air conditioning and fan, phone, safe and hot water.

Management consists of a young friendly professional Thai Staff dedicated to making each visitor feel a part of the resort family, yet special and pampered. Directed by an internationally renowned host who formerly owned and operated the Outlook Inn on Orcas Island in the American San Juan Islands, Washington State, the staff of Friendship Beach is accommodating in every aspect of their work.

In General, everything is at your fingertips or located a only few minutes away: sports fishing, golf, yacht club, diving or snorkeling, exploration of other well-known islands, swimming in pool or ocean, sea kayaking, horse riding. Car or motorbike rentals can be arranged by the staff as well as taxi service or tours. The island has established a large variety of sun and surf activities so that there is something for everyone.

The units are clean, comfortable and close to the pool and beach. All units are new or have been remodeled recently and are reasonably priced. Some have a private garden, walk-in closet. Most units have Bali style baths. The modest exteriors don’t adequately reflect the inside graciousness; however, they blend nicely with the landscaping and feeling of the resort. Special care has been taken to provide the most comfortable surroundings, both inside and outside, and are decorated in a Thai / Western theme.
