How is my total rental calculated?
Rental rates vary by season and duration-of-stay. Consequently, it is necessary to look at each night of your stay and determine the applicable rate for that night.
For example, consider a 10-night stay, comprised of 4 nights in summer season and 6 nights in high season.
Since the stay is more than a week, the weekly rate will apply for all the nights of your stay. For each night, we determine the applicable season, consult the weekly rate for that season, divide that weekly rate by 7 to get a nightly rate, and add that amount to a running total.
In our example, the first 4 nights will use the summer season weekly rate (divided by 7), the last six nights will use the high-season weekly rate (divided by 7).
For a property that does not specify weekly or monthly rates, the daily rate for the applicable season is applied for each night of the stay.
About Hua Thanon
A 10 minute drive south of Lamai is the home of the Muslim fishing community with a daily fresh seafood market and dozens of colorful longtail-boats. The Samui Aquarium and the Butterfly Garden are located there and the tranquil beaches of Laem Set, Bang Kao and the hillsides offer scenic views to the nearby islands of Koh Tan and Koh Matsum and the mainland at the horizon.

The pavilions of the villa are located on an untouched beach in the south of Samui, overlooking the islands of Koh Matsum and Koh Taen. Entering this beautiful teak wooden house you first step on the expansive deck surrounding the pavilions. One pavilion houses the large living area, while the others are home to the sleeping accommodation.
The open-plan living space is fully decorated in an original Thai style featuring a high wooden ceiling and is dressed with beautiful water-hyacinth sofas and a long classic solid teak dining table. There’s also a fully-equipped kitchen and an adjoining TV room.
On the large wooden terrace you will find a unique antique dining table as well as relaxing sun loungers. Guests can enjoy a candle-lit dinner in the living room or a BBQ on the sea view terrace.
The sleeping pavilions incorporate the six bedrooms. With twin or double beds, walk in closets, and en-suite bathrooms, the bedrooms are suitable for all guests. From the relaxing bathtub in the master en-suite, you can enjoy looking at the surrounding palm trees, the moon and stars, through the skylight ceiling and there’s also a refreshing open air shower. Children's accommodation is provided with single beds and a bathroom with shower.
All rooms are decorated with antique furniture and have sliding doors to maximise the sea view and cooling breeze. Both pavilions have direct access to a stunning secluded beach on a half moon bay via an expansive lawn of palm trees and where you will also find the swimming pool. Located behind the main house is the private tennis court.

Prices include breakfast. All daily rates are subject to 10% service charge and 7% tax. A baby cot can be provided free of charge. Airport transfer is $50 plus tax per trip for up to nine guests. The villa manager, guest relations and concierge team are on hand to help with queries. A Thai chef is available full time.
