We enjoyed our 4 week stay in Phuket very much – so much in fact, that we started looking at properties for our retirement during our stay.
The villa is well furnished, well laid out, and in an excellent location. It is close to shops and restaurants and the setting is very serene.
The villa did have some issues which were addressed during our stay, but there are issues that should be attended to, in order to achieve the level of ‘luxury villa’ that it advertises to be.
We had expected that everything would be checked and in working order, ready for our arrival. We did not like having to call the manager to have items fixed on a regular basis. For example: the front door had dropped and was unable to be locked; the master bedroom door was off its roller and could not be closed; the rolling master bathroom door jammed and could not be closed; there was no hot water; the safes were not operational; the pool lights did not work; and the pool umbrella could not be opened.
