We had the most wonderful time at the villa, absolutely fabulous. A true home from home (much better than home) which I have never experienced before in a rented property. Attention to detail is that of a 5 star hotel and more.
Just can't wait to return.
Pat & Steve. UK. (September 2013)
Perfect luxurious villa in beautiful peaceful location. 5 star luxurious spacious villa in peaceful location never stayed anywhere as beautiful, clean or well equipped. We were totally amazed by the property on our arrival. Fantastic pool overlooking lagoon enjoyed watching all kinds of wildlife. Villa excellently maintained efficient cleaning and maintenance staff. 5 mins on mopeds to lovely beaches and great places to eat close by. Lovely welcome pack on arrival - wine, beer and food greatly appreciated after long flight. The service from the owners prior, during and after our stay was first class nothing too much trouble - answered e mails straight away, arranged hire car, suggested flight agents, prompt return of deposit - extremely efficient with everything.
Glen & Liz Fletcher. UK. (September 2013)
The perfect 5 star villa. What a fabulous villa. From the moment we walked through the door we just fell in love with it. The villa was spotless and we were greeted with a lovely welcome pack. Shari and Phil had provided all the comforts of home so there was no need to rush out and shop. We felt as if we were in a 5 star hotel. We have 3 teenage children who loved the pool , the table tennis and used the bikes to cycle to the beach. It was so relaxing, our stay was far better than we had ever imagined and it was a pleasure to stay in a villa that is so well looked after. Thank you so much for sharing your special home with us - we look forward to coming again !!
Simon & Jude. Dubai. (August 2013)
Beautiful villa in perfect location. Lovely spacious villa in beautifully kept grounds (including a lagoon!) The villa is very tastefully done with lots of little touches which make the stay feel very luxurious. Bikes are provided which are great for nipping down to the town or to the beach in only a few minutes. The pool is massive and there's also a table tennis table, various board games, books, dvds etc, so it's very hard to get bored! Would love to stay again and would definitely recommend.
Oliver & Katy. UK. (July 2013)
Beautiful home in a quiet neighbourhood.

First off, Phil and Shari were a pleasure to deal with during the booking process, while we were at the home, and again after I returned back home. They are very friendly, helpful and attentive.

The house itself is beautiful. The common area as well as the bedrooms are all well-sized and appointed, though none of the bedrooms have a television. The beds are large and comfortable and the air conditioning units do an excellent job. We ran into a problem with one of the units, but we informed maintenance and it was fixed within an hour. Though we had a few unforeseen problems here or there, maintenance was a phone call away and they were able to take care of everything quickly and effectively. The housekeeping service is also friendly and incredibly thorough. Really, you could eat off of the floors once they're done with the place, if you're into that sort of thing.

The study being detached from the house is a minor inconvenience. If the wi-fi signal had been a little stronger, we probably wouldn't have had to venture into it at all, but since we did, I appreciated the couches as well as the stereo. Free reign over the desktop PC in the study is a fantastic perk, as well.

I stayed in the master bedroom and found it to be exceptional. The sliding doors leading to the private patio are great and the master bath was beautiful.

The pool is fantastic. Perfect size, great view of the lagoon, etc. We all appreciated the inclusion of the pool toys and the floating chair.

We didn't use the kitchen much, but it was well-appointed. We also appreciated having access to a washer as that saved us a bit of time and money.

The only negative in my book is its relative distance from Sai Yuan. I am comfortable on a motor scooter, so it wasn't much of a problem for me, but a couple of my traveling companions weren't in the same situation. I did walk over to Sai Yuan in order to pick up my scooter and it's maybe a ten minute walk, which is certainly doable, but not something that you want to make a habit of in that kind of weather. Phil and Shari are nice enough to include the use of two bicycles.

Overall, a fantastic place. I would not hesitate to stay again.
J. LaBarge. USA. (July 2013)
Thoroughly enjoyable experience, perfect villa in every way, highly recomended. Fantastic location away from the more tourist areas of Kata, idylic setting in very private, quiet estate of top end villas.
Richard Marshall. Sheffield, UK. (May 2013)
This villa is fantastic. It is easily one of the best villas we have ever stayed in, and the owners Shari & Phil really go out of their way to make sure they provide everything that you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you are planning a trip to Phuket and are looking for somewhere peaceful to stay, make sure you book this villa. It is amazing value for money and you definitely won't regret it!
Greg Wakeham. Australia. (April 2013)
If Paradise was half as nice then I definitely want to go there!!!!! This was my 6th visit at Baan Nai Fun, which says it all really. It is just so beautiful and peaceful that I am more than happy to return again and again. Not only are the villa and surroundings absolutely stunning, but the owners simply couldn't do more to make you feel welcome and happy for you to be visiting their home. On this visit there were 5 of us (more than usual) but at no time did we feel cramped or crowded. There is always a quiet spot somewhere if you want to get away for a bit of peace and quiet. Also lots of space for laughter and fun!!!! If I was asked to describe my vision of Paradise then this is it :-)
Doreen P. West Sussex, England. (February 2013)
Wonderful Home for a Christmas Stay. My husband and I, along with another couple and our adult son, spent a week here over Christmas. What a treat!

From the moment I first contacted Phil and Shari about the possibility of renting their villa to the final email when our security deposit was returned, they made our trip simple. Every question was answered - often even before we knew enough to ask it, every detail looked after and a complete binder of information waiting for us at the villa.

Baan Nai Fun is even more beautiful than shown in the photos. It has been built with care and attention to detail, and then lovingly decorated with Thai statuary, paintings and carvings. A well-stocked library and a chess board were welcome additions to lazy days.

We chose to not rent a vehicle during our stay. Phil and Shari arranged ahead of time for our pick-up and return to the airport, and for any other trips we took, we phoned one of the taxis listed in the house information guide. Town is a short walk (10 minutes) away, and we wandered in there most days for our dinner meal. Restaurants are so reasonable, (and we were so lazy) that we chose to do that rather than cook our own meals. We did, however, cook Christmas Day, and found everything we needed in the kitchen to create our own Thai celebration.

We would certainly recommend Baan Nai Fun to anyone visiting this area of Phuket, and will definitely stay here again should we return ourselves.
Gail Reed Harrison. Canada. (February 2013)
A truly magical holiday at Baan Nai Fun. This was our 3rd Thailand holiday staying at Baan Nai Fun, Nai Harn and although we still had very vivid memories of our last visits here we were again totally taken aback on our arrival by the beauty of the villa.
There is such a warm homely feel and real care about the villa which runs through every room. It all goes to create a truly relaxing atmosphere to unwind from our busy lives.
Everything you could possibly want or need is provided in the villa to make it a real home from home in such a beautiful location.
We enjoyed spending many hours just relaxing by the pool, sometimes gazing out into the lagoon to see the wildlife, kingfishers and turtles are a real treat.
We can highly recommend a stay at Baan Nai Fun as the perfect holiday base to explore the idyllic island of Phuket. The Villa has everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible and the memories we have will stay with us forever.
Jackie & Steve. UK. (January 2013)
Home Away From Home! Stunning! What can I say but WOW! My husband and I stayed for 9 nights just recently. We were amazed when we first stepped through the doors as the place exceed our expectations as the pictures do not do it justice. The place is large and very homely. You can see that Shari and Phil have made it a home away from home. There is everything you may need there, I mean everything, from films, music, games, snorkels, cocktail sets, first aid kit, brochures for Phuket, basics like salt / pepper etc, We also had a great surprise with our welcome pack in the fridge! I mean that is just to name a few things. The place is also spotless and the cleaners come every Mon/Wed/Fri and trust me, they do a brilliant job! The pool was a blessing each evening and even though the villa is located near a pond, there were no mosquitos! It is very serene and peaceful which is great after a day of sightseeing and the villa is in a well kept residential area which is very secure being looked after by security, so its very very safe.

The location is brilliant! Naiharn is amazing. Shops are about a 10 minute walk but we had a car so it was so easy to get everywhere. There are lots of options to eat or get takeaway like we did (from Banana Corner (good Thai), DaVinci (fantastic pizza but pricey), Amalfi (fantastic everything), beach restaurants (great) etc. There is also a 7/11 right at the end of the street and other bigger shopping centres about a 10 min drive away. There are also a few good bars around the area, but not sleezy like the ones in Patong! Overall the beach is beautiful (has a little bit of surf at times which is great to play in). We had a day trip out going to most of the beaches on the West coast and Nai Harn and Kata Noi were our favourites when it came to nice sand, blue water and not over crowded. Patong was packed with people (mostly party goers) and was a bit seedy but is a 25 min drive away if you want to go and check out the lady boys etc. Kata and Karon are much closer and also have many options to go out in and is not as seedy. So overall Naiharn was definitely the best choice of location.

In terms of things to do, the list is as long as your arm. Things that we can recommend is Simba Tours. They do Phi Phi Island and Phang Nga Bay mainly as small group tours (15 people) and are the only ones that beat the crowds, which you really will appreciate! Amazing! We also went to Kok Chang Elephant rides, are probably the most trusted to treat their elephants well, fantastic too!

Overall, when it came to leave the amazing villa, we were so depressed and are already planning our next trip back! Thanks Shari and Phil!
Anna Kozubkiewicz. UK. (January 2013)
Yet another wonderful holiday at the villa. We had another fanatic relaxing stay at the villa, just as great as the time before. The villa is so homely and comfortable everything there that you could possibly need during your stay. So much thought and attention has obviously gone into making your holiday a memorable one. A lot more restaurants in the area and beach was not crowded in October which was good. Will certainly return in the future.
Ruth Ansell. Hong Kong. (November 2012)
Excellent luxury villa! Whilst the photos are an excellent representation of the villa, as already mentioned, they simply don’t do the place justice and in reality, this villa exceeded our expectations. It has everything we needed and wanted and whilst it feels luxurious, it also feels instantly homely. Shari & Phil have successfully created a home which is modern and also has a traditional Thai theme. I trawled through many villas online and have no doubt in my mind that we picked the right one. We were looking for luxury and style but a place which was also sympathetic of and in keeping with Thai culture and this villa ticks every box.

Not only is the home a perfect destination but its location in Phuket was perfect for us too. The local area is quiet and relaxing but has a great selection of restaurants as well as local amenities. You don’t have to go too far to be in the thick of it and enjoy the buzz of the busier resorts if you wish.

Shari and Phil are extremely helpful, thoughtful and knowledgeable. They have thought of every need for their guests which is clearly born out of their experience. Furthermore, their communication and assistance throughout is excellent and the personal touch really enhances the appreciation of the villa and overall experience. We really do recommend this villa!
Claire Aiton. Scotland. (October 2012)
Beautiful, secluded and peaceful. Just returned from 9 nights at this great villa. The view from the pool over the fish filled lagoon was just what was needed - a great way to pass the time doing nothing! The villa itself is really well appointed, congrats to Shari & Phil, everything you could need whilst away was supplied including a welcome pack. We (40ish) travelled with my parents (60+) and our kids (1, 5). Everyone loved the house for different reasons - the kids for the pool and the large open spaces, my parents for the peace and serenity and my husband and I for the ability to have everyone together but not on top of one another. The location is a 10 min walk to Nai Harn village where plenty of food options are available. If you want to shop I would recommend transport but you can arrange this easily. We loved eating at the German Bakery and found Lynne's Spring Rolls (opposite German Bakery) great too. We can also highly recommend P & D Tours for taxi service - very reasonable pricing and new super clean van with courteous drivers. Having stayed in various locations in Thailand before, we really enjoyed the atmosphere of Nai Harn village for a blend of locals, ex-pats and the odd holiday maker. If you want beachside with evening stroll for shopping this may not be for you but if you want a step out of holiday craziness to just relax, can't recommend highly enough.
Rebecca Bullock. Queenscliff, Australia. (October 2012)
Fantastic holiday. We have stayed in villas all over the world, but this was by far the best place we have stayed in. Phil & Shari were fantastic hosts - every little detail was taken care of, from the initial booking to the car hire. The villa is luxurious, in a beautiful location in the south of the island. Patong Beach was only 20 minutes ride away, if you wanted to experience the expansive nightlife. The weekend market is also highly recommended for the cheap shopping. We loved the south coast, the beaches were less busy and the restaurants were outstanding. The Crepes restaurant with their fresh mango smoothies was our favourite breakfast place. There are also plenty of very good Italian restaurants if you wanted a break from the Thai food. The villa is located in a private estate and the management staff were very courteous and helpful. Cleaners would come every other day - I miss them now we are back at home. A fantastic holiday and we are already planning a return trip.
Ash Kotecha. UK. (September 2012)
A villa paradise. Beautiful villa style Thai / Balinese decorated with great taste. This is even more beautiful than the pictures! It feels like home, surrounded by many books, CDs, DVDs. The pool is beautiful and big enough. A few metres, the view embraces a beautiful pond within which huge carp (visible from the room) waiting to be fed. Here everything exudes tranquility. A little paradise on earth. The villa is well located in a very green, quiet, a few minutes drive from Rawai and beautiful beach of Nay Harn. Ideal starting point for excursions that are essential Phi Phi Islands (snorkeling in an aquarium!) and Phang Nga. One last word to complete, the owners Phil & Shari very attentive (food in the fridge when we arrived) and good advice (car rental, excursions, etc ).
Michel. France. (August 2012)
The absolute definition of a "holiday". Where do I start - photos, although fabulous, didn't do the villa justice. We discovered Nai Harn beach on our second last day holidaying in Thailand 7 years ago & promised ourselves if we returned we would stay close by. We didn't want to stay in a hotel so looked for a villa. Baan Nai Fun looked perfect and traveling with three teens the table tennis table, mountain bike & private pool were a definite drawcard! After we'd made our choice (there were a few options in the area) the owners liaised with us all the way through - helping with planning, answering questions during our stay and offering reminders for departure, as well as checking we returned home safely. The cost was very moderate given the luxury and facilities - the owners have thought of everything - from music, to power adaptors, to a book to help identify the wonderful butterflies. You can tell they really love the place too. This trip was with our teenagers so we did all the touristy activities like surfing, elephant rides, para-sailing, buggy driving, shopping & even the cinema. We introduced them to massages & the wonderful Thai food, but next time plan to go with friends and do more 'grown up' stuff like G&T sipping by the pool. Honestly - this trip was the perfect holiday - made more so by the attention to detail the owners have invested in this villa to make visitors feel at home in their piece of paradise.
Tracy Feeney. Australia. (July 2012)
Fantastic Oasis in great location.
This was our second visit to Baan Nai Fun and we enjoyed it as much as first visit. On this occasion my parents joined us and commented it was the best holiday home they had stayed at.
The house is located in the quieter southern part of Phuket, there are many good restaurants in the local area and Nai Harn beach is close by. The house is next to a small lake in a very peaceful location - it is so alluring it is difficult to drag yourself away from the house to visit the other attractions in Phuket.
We look forward to our next visit.
Don. Singapore. (June 2012)
Ultimate Accommodation. In hindsight, the 4**** resorts we stayed at previously & after we stayed at Baan Nai Fun never came close nor compared to this fantastic Villa. We honestly should've made our stay there longer ! Felt sad leaving & our holiday hadn't even ended - that's what an impact it had on all of us. We hope to revisit in the near future.
Homey, Classy, Tranquil, Restful, Comforting & Secure - just a "few" adjectives describing Baan Nai Fun.
The Owners, Shari & Phil you guys are wonderful to share your special piece of paradise with others, we feel very privileged. Thank You Sincerely
4ofusDREAMERS. West Pennant Hills, Sydney, Australia. (June 2012)
A beautiful piece of paradise. I've stayed at numerous villas in the Nai Harn area and can confirm categorically that this villa is the most beautiful, well appointed and well situated. From the arrival letter, to the thoughtful fridge of goodies............from the well stocked bookshelves, to the telescope in the study............this villa has it all. Alongside a superb outlook across the infinity pool to the lagoon and a folder full of suggestions for places to visit and enjoy this villa is big, beautiful and a slice of luxury too. if you are looking for somewhere to while away your time..........a true home from home.........look no further.
Anna-Marie. UK. (April 2012)
Luxury villa, quiet, private and fantastic owners. This luxury villa is a must for anyone who values privacy and a quiet stay. From the off the owners were very easy to deal with, always willing to answer questions and sending all the right info for paying the deposit etc. 3 fantastic double bedrooms, a huge lounge area with entertainment centre, full kitchen, bikes, table tennis, a lovely private study with internet access, books everywhere in case you forget yours, an honest home from home. The lovely thing is Shari and Phil invite you to share their home and enjoy their piece of paradise. The pool is fantastic too. After chasing around Phuket site seeing we would walk into the pool at 4pm and stay in until dark, lovely. There are plenty of restaurants to enjoy just 5 mins away, our fav being the Ruen Thai. Stay here and you won't want to leave. A big thanks to Shari and Phil for letting us stay. 10/10
Mike C. UK. (April 2012)
Home from home but with better weather and a pool!!! What a truly lovely villa. Perfectly fitted out and maintained but so homely as well. We thought that the bottle of wine in the welcome pack was a really hospitable touch and truly welcoming. Made us feel as if we were staying in the home of friends. Likewise the nice touch of toiletries in the bathroom. The situation is perfect, but would recommend car hire to enjoy it to the full. Also felt very safe and comfortable, private but not isolated. Watching the wild life around the lake is a full time job in itself!!! All in all, a perfect place for a perfect holiday - a little bit of paradise!!!!!
Doreen P. West Sussex, England. (April 2012)
If there is a heaven on earth, then this must be the place. Truly a home away from home. Beautifully furnished villa with inviting swimming pool, wonderful garden, ponds full of fish. Everything you could ever want in a holiday. Total tranquility and privacy. A must for everyone to experience once in a lifetime. I highly recommend this incredible rental.
Irene Chamay. Switzerland. (March 2012)
Are there enough superlatives to describe this place? I wonder. It’s the most beautiful three bedroom/three and a half bathroom villa, tastefully furnished with a glossy infinity pool overlooking perfectly manicured gardens and lake. Normally the whole idea of staying in a gated community would fill me with dread but I must say that this place felt very different. It was more like a plush and high-end residential suburb close to all amenities. Tropical tree lined avenues laced with exotic birds and colourful butterflies.
We were a party of 5 adults and there was heaps of space for us all. Going at peak time meant that we avoided the busy hotel scene for a more discerning and boutique experience at the rental house. We were VERY happy that we may this decision. The bedrooms are very generous and light-filled, beds big and comfy with excellent linen and the bathrooms are spotless and top quality. The pool was regularly maintained by a team of discrete and friendly pool cleaners, as was the garden along with the villa itself.
The villa has EVERYTHING, so pack light. Moreover, the finishings are top notch and reflect very stylish taste. Aside from an open plan kitchen/dining/living area that spills out onto the pool area, there is also a separate study with good internet access and most days were spent happily lazing poolside after breakfast in the cabana. When we chose to head out it couldn’t have been easier. Cabs are free to call and quick to arrive. We cycled to the shops (the German bakery is wonderful and there is a great fruit stall for breakfast platters along the main stretch of road) and down to the beach with ease. There are two bikes for your use at the house. We chose to eat out pretty much every night. The restaurants overlooking the beach at Nai Harn offered cool beers and zingy curry with the sand between your toes, the Royal Phuket Yacht Club (minutes away) is great for posh nosh and a splendid view, and the Italian restaurant Da Vinci is very close and serves excellent food. Currently #3 on Tripadvisor for Phuket.
Shari and Phil (the villa’s owners) were lovely to deal with, gave us heaps of helpful advice, ensured that a driver met us at the airport and even had a delicious welcome supper ready for us when we arrived.
As a group we all agreed that the only real criticism we have is that the online photos don’t really do the place justice. It looks good in the pictures but it’s even better in the flesh.
This was a perfect alternative to a busy hotel. It would be great for a family (though if you’ve young ones the pool doesn’t have a fence) or for a group of friends holidaying together. Though we didn’t rent a car it seems easily done but cabs were very convenient and often good fun (the open backed jeepneys are a hoot!). The place offers the best of both worlds: you are close enough to facilities for you to do things (the cooking course at Patong was a favourite of ours) but if you want to get away from it all and simply slump by the pool then that’s doable too. We even enjoyed a poolside massage one afternoon with a cocktail!!
This is a well-designed and beautifully maintained home that seems to lack nothing. It felt very safe and friendly, was in a great part of Phuket and helped to make our Christmas getaway so very special. Easy 5 stars!
Andrew McHugh. Sydney, Australia. (January 2012)
The house is beautiful in all aspects and the grounds are exquisite. After entering the property across the lotus pond, opening the front door is a revelation. The villa isn’t a holiday villa; it’s a home, and a fabulous one.
From the fully equipped kitchen to satellite TV, Music systems, DVDs, Bikes, Games, internet access; everything is provided. Even luggage scales to ensure your return flight check-in goes smoothly!
There is only one drawback! The villa is almost too comfortable. The gardens, the pool and the views over the fresh water lagoon are so beautiful and so relaxing that it’s difficult to go out and explore Phuket.
Sitting in the morning sun watching the lagoon area come to life is enchanting. It teems with wildlife. The flock of yellow spectacled Mynah birds trill beautifully as they sip water at the infinity edge of the pool and the fleeting glimpses of the iridescent blue back of the Kingfisher are a delight.
The pool area is a perfect suntrap. The sun rises over the lagoon in time for an early breakfast in the sala and passes over the rooftop just as you’re beginning to think whether to go out and eat the fabulous food in the local restaurants or stay in and cook something to eat outside as the stars come out.
If you can tear yourself away, this corner of Phuket has plenty to explore and enjoy. Driving in the area is easy too. The swarm of motor scooters isn’t a problem. With up to four Thais on each bike, they weave in and out around you quite carefully, almost gracefully in fact. Even in the busy areas like Patong and Chalong we never encountered an aggressive driver on two wheels or four.
Even with a whole world to explore it will be difficult to resist going back to Nai Ban Fun. Phil and Shari are the perfect hosts too. Their almost instant responses to our emails with help and advice ensured we enjoyed our holiday to the full.
Stuart Morris. Colchester, UK. (November 2011)
If you are looking for a relaxed and peaceful stay in Phuket then this villa is for you. The villa is in the most beautiful setting, with its own infinity pool and views over the lagoon. The accommodation is very comfortable with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a wonderful living/dining area, with all the mod cons. My only regret is not having booked a 2 week stay!
The owners, Shari and Phil are wonderful to deal with and made the booking process very easy. Their prompt reply to emails and additional advice on the area made all the difference.
Natalie & Friends. London, UK. (November 2011)
We rented this villa for one month and it was absolute paradise! The villa is like a home from home with every need catered for. We travelled with our 3 and 9 year old children and they also loved it! We can highly recommend this villa to anyone and we will definately be returning. The owners are also an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Dario Acri & family. London, UK. (September 2011)
It was a wonderful place to stay and very luxurious. It offered everything and more for a relaxed and comfortable holiday. It was great to stay in with a group of people and it was spacious enough to not get in each others way. Plenty to do within walking distance from the house including the beach. The taxi service recommended was very convenient and punctual. Thank you for making it a great holiday for all five of us.
Kees Pley. Australia. (August 2011)
Thi is a beautiful villa in a secluded part of the south island. We had such a lovely time and feel very lucky to have been able to share this amazing place with the owners, Phil and Shari. Phil and Shari went out of their way to ensure that our holiday was perfect, they gave great advice on our holiday and the arrangements they made for us were outstanding. We would highly recommend this holiday place to everyone, what a wonderful place to relax but still feel like we were at home.
Deborah & Don Hewes. Singapore. (August 2011)
This villa is an idyllic holiday retreat that has a real home from home feel about it. It is spacious, extremely comfortable and furnished to a very high standard in traditional Thai style while catering for all mod cons including satellite TV, internet access and music system. We spent a large part of our holiday just relaxing around the villa because we found that it was such a perfect location. The infinity pool is clean, very warm and easily large enough to cater for a family; it overlooks a natural lagoon which attracts a range of birds, on our visit among others we saw Water Hens, Drongos and Kingfishers. We found that there was absolutely no problem from insects or mosquitoes despite the close proximity to water due to the sympathetic planting of insect repellent shrubs around the entire area. Baan Nai Fun offers the perfect location to relax in a secure and safe environment and is only a 15 minute walk to the lovely beach at Nai Harn, It is in close proximity to a large range of excellent restaurants to cater for local and western dishes. We would thoroughly recommend villa Baan Nai Fun to anyone wishing to stay in Phuket as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful place.
Steve & Jackie. UK. (June 2011)
On arrival at the villa you immediately feel relaxed, it is spacious, the bedrooms are large and it is beautifully furnished throughout with all the amenities you require, books, music and even internet access if you wish. The villa is situated in a beautiful lush garden and a lagoon and it is great to lounge in the pool and watch the wild life go about their every day living. The local village is within walking distance or only a few minutes away by bike with many cafes for breakfast and restuarants for evening dinner. There are also local shops, if the desire takes you, to buy the basics to to eat in and dine al fresco at the sala by the pool for breakfast or that evening meal. Nai Harn Beach is really great and only a few minutes away by car or bike with very good fresh sea food and of course massages. There is also Rawai which has very good restaurants and again great seafood. The villa is a beautiul place to relax, enjoy and have just a great time and we do highly recommend this as a place to stay.
Ruth Ansell. Hong Kong. (June 2011)
All we can say is that you will not be disappointed if you choose this villa. In fact you will be pleasantly surprised how it surpasses your expectations. It is not just somewhere to put down your luggage for a few weeks but it is a home from home. The surrounding lagoon offers a lovely view from the pool and the pleasure of feeding the fish and watching the many birds that frequent it. Everything you could possibly require is provided at the villa. In that respect it is certainly the best we have ever stayed at. The area is very peaceful but a more active nightlife is just a short car/taxi journey along the coast. My teenage daughter loved the hustle and bustle of Patong, only to be endured for an evening out mind you! and Kata and Karon resorts which are closer are lively if a little less so.
Pete, Pauline & Leanne Dickens. UK. (April 2011)
We read most of the comments and a lot of what we were going to say has already been said, but there is one thing we would like to mention. We have stayed in Thailand quite a few times but this is different because it is a home, obviously cherished by Shari & Phil, and it has been our home whilst we have been here. As one previous guest put it - the best part of the day is when you come home to Baan Nai Fun. No need to say anymore. Thank you so much.
Gerard & Donna Fryer. Wales. (March 2011)
We have had 2 wonderful weeks here in Nai Harn. The house exceeded all our expectations and the days here have been perfect for our family. We also loved the beach, massage, German & French bakeries, Banana Corner and Areu Corner restaurants, speedboat to Phi Phi, Coral Island, elephant trekking, watermelon shakes, the night market and going around by scooter... but the best thing was to get back to Baan Nai Fun. Thanks for the best holiday ever.
Mette Jensen & Family. Denmark. (March 2011)
What a tremendous recommendation. We had the most glorious time. The villa is beautiful and the setting magnificent. In spare moments during our hectic itinerary it has been therapeutic to sit by or in the pool and just gaze out over the lush vegetation. All the staff have been amazing, friendly and helpful. It would be lovely to return when we have more time to do this beautiful place justice.
Tisa Abel & Family. UK. (February 2011)
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at your villa. It really does have a most peaceful, relaxing and beautiful setting. We found the villa in immaculate condition and were delighted with the layout, tasteful furnishing and decoration and also the generous extras you provide in terms of books, music, internet access, mountain bikes, games and just about everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The site staff were very friendly and helpful and maintenance and cleaning tasks were carried out punctually and efficiently. I would happily recommend, without reservation, a stay in this villa.

Thank you so much for your hospitality. It's been a lovely time for us. Baan Nai Fun is a beautiful place and we will always remember it. Our baby son learned to walk while staying here ! We also loved Nai Harn as it is so quiet and the people are friendly.

Thank you for allowing us to share in your little piece of heaven. Your villa has been brilliantly designed and luxuriously furnished. It has proved to be the perfect location for us to spend time with our family and wonderful to relax in the pool or under the Sala and share time and laughter with the children and their partners. These occasions are all too infrequent but Baan Nai Fun has provided the whole family with great memories to take home with us. Thank you for the recommendations that you made & all your help & advice. The girls went to the Spa for a massage, whilst the boys played golf & we all went to Momtri's for the sunset & a meal which was fantastic. The staff at Baan Bua were also wonderful, particularly the office staff who helped out on a couple of occasions when we needed small maintenance issues looked at & they were sorted out very quickly & efficiently. If anyone expresses an interest in visiting Phuket I would most certainly recommend your villa to them as the perfect place to stay.

My second visit to the villa, and I suspect that it has become a constant, against which the sped of outside life may be measured. The trappings of everyday life change but here at the villa the noise stills and we have a moment to consider true happiness, the power of friendship, and the natural beauty that too often gets blurred as we catapult through our days. An amazing week with dear friends and in a place about which I feel smilingly sentimental.

Looking at the visitors book it seems that we are in competition to see who can make this their 'home away from home'. So far we are poised at four visits - and who could blame us. It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, to relax and find yourself again.

We had an unforgettable stay in Phuket, to a very great extent because of the house. Even arriving at night after an 18 hour journey, it was stunning. We just had to explore, even though we were really tired. The next morning we realised that we had arrived in Paradise - and that was before we left the property! It is clearly a lovingly created home, beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standards. The sense of space is striking, but not overwhelming, and in the stunning pool, overlooking a tranquil lagoon watching a heron fish one wonders whether it is really worth going to see the rest of Phuket! All this in a peaceful and secluded private estate, but only minutes from the best beach on the island and in easy walking distance of basic shops and a wide variety of excellent bars and restaurant if one really feels the need to go out. We will be back!!

We wanted to say how much we enjoyed this villa. Sitting outside in the warm with a glass of wine is our idea of heaven, and sitting on the verandah overlooking the lagoon was better still. We have booked villas before and although the pictures seen in advance are always accurate, it is the view you don't see that is the crucial one. - this villa was the exception; if anything we don't think the pictures do it justice! We weren't prepared for that wonderful view, and for that view, we would have happily forgiven a few shortcomings within the villa itself, but there weren't any. Everything we could conceivably need was there. We hope we will be able to come back again one day. Thank you both so much for the effort you put into making sure that everything was thought of, both in terms of everything available at the villa and the arrangements for our arrival. We had a wonderful 2 weeks.

This is my third visit and I am still as in thrall to this place as the first time I saw it - if not more so. Not only is it beautiful but so comfortable - a real home. Thnak you so much for allowing me to share a little bit of heaven on earth. I'll be back !

I have stayed at this beautiful villa and thoroughly enjoyed the villa and its surroundings....it's in a tranquil setting by a lagoon and surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, yet within easy reach of a lovely sandy beach. The locals were very friendly too.

I've stayed 3 times in paradise! Baan Nai Fun is a delightful Thai bungalow with very comfortable beds and furnishings in beautiful surroundings. To get up and have an early morning dip in the pool before breakfast, then deciding where to visit during the day is my idea of heaven! After a good day out enjoying the sites, it’s time for another dip and G&T’s before making yet another decision, where to eat in the evening. There are plenty of very good restaurants in the area and the Nai Harn beach is only about a mile away. I have no hesitation is recommending this delightful place for a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
